5 Good Years

Not even good years, five excellent years with my husband. This picture was one of our engagement pictures and I think we look so young! Five years later I still feel so blessed and cannot imagine myself with any other person, in any other life. I love you, Christopher Wade Hughes, Happy Anniversary!

Praises

Today I'm 12 weeks! It's really unreal because most of the time I feel just fine. Only tired, all the time. Our baby is now about the size of a peach! I had an ultrasound today and our little "peach" was hard to see because he/she was practically standing on his/her head! Sign of things to come?? Anyway, everything looked good, the heartbeat was strong, and I feel incredibly thankful for everything that has gone well this far. It's still so unreal!

I don't know if it's the baby or what, but I really want to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie!

Happy Fourth!

It's been a great day already! We had a wonderful weekend with my Mom visiting. She left this morning and I miss her! We went to lunch at The Plaid Apron, a restaurant here in Knoxville that our friends just opened. Brunch this morning was amazing-you should try it! Then, an afternoon nap on the couch during the thunderstorm was what I needed! Looking forward to dinner tonight at Chris' parents' house. I feel so blessed today and am so thankful for our freedom. Hope your 4th of July is great!
